Private Clients

Merlin Industries sells to private individuals under certain conditions. Since C-UAS systems are strictly regulated in Germany, sales to private customers are subject to clear requirements.

Requirements

A purchase is possible for private individuals if:

• There is a demonstrable need for drone countermeasures (e.g. repeated unauthorised drone flights over your property)
• The required authority approval is in place or is being applied for
• Use is limited exclusively to your own property

Typical scenarios where private individuals are interested in our systems:

• Property owners protecting against unauthorised drone surveillance
• Farmers protecting livestock and crops

Legal Notice

The acquisition and operation of countermeasures against unmanned aircraft is regulated in Germany under the WaffG and LuftVO. In particular, the use of jamming and disruption systems requires authority approval. Alternatively, passive detection systems can be used which do not require such approval.
